PHANTASM 3 ‘Cuda featured at Farmers Market L.A. Car Show!
Last weekend, the legendary Phantasm III ‘70 Triple Black Hemicuda Convertible made a special appearance at the Original Farmers Market in Los Angeles for “A Tribute To American Muscle Cars.”
PHANTASM phans were thrilled to see the rare muscle car up close, a striking piece of both cinematic and automotive history. Its sleek black finish and raw power turned heads amid a sea of classic American machines.
For those wondering why the film featured a convertible rather than the hardtop seen in earlier entries, there’s a story behind it. In Phantasm II, the original 1971 Plymouth Barracuda hardtop is dramatically blown up. But in Part III, Reggie—ever the resourceful ice cream man—reveals a meticulously restored ‘70 convertible stashed in his garage, ready for the next battle against The Tall Man.
Horror fans also got a kick out of the officially licensed Phantasm mask by Trick or Treat Studios, adding the perfect eerie touch to the muscle car tribute.
