Jim The Worlds Greatest

Released 1975. “The Cheerleader. The Girlfriend. The Brother. The Father. He Took Care Of Them All.”

Don Coscarelli co-wrote and co-directed Jim, the World's Greatest when he was just 18 years old. When Universal Pictures acquired and released the film in January 1976, Coscarelli became one of the youngest filmmakers ever to have a major studio theatrical release. The drama starred Gregory Harrison and featured early appearances by future Phantasm icons Angus Scrimm and Reggie Bannister. Considered a “lost” film the movie remains in the Universal vaults.
