John Wick Is Driving The Phantasm 'Cuda?!

The Phantasm ‘Cuda is often referred to by “Phans” as their favorite character in the movie. The original PHANTASM featured a Triple black 1971 Plymouth ’Cuda and went on to become one of the most beloved cars in horror movie history.

Many PHANTASM phans have been emailing us that John Wick was sighted driving a ‘Cuda that looks suspiciously like the PHANTASM car in the new trailer for John Wick: Chapter 4 which comes out March 24th, 2023.

The only thing that would make this sweeter was if Reggie from PHANTASM was driving shotgun with John Wick!

The terrific Keanu Reeves portrays John Wick and as the synopsis says: With the price on his head ever increasing, legendary hitman John Wick takes his fight against the High Table global as he seeks out the most powerful players in the underworld, from New York to Paris to Japan to Berlin.

Is that John Wick driving the ‘cuda from PHANTASM?!

Motortrend magazine got the scoop:

"In the trailer, the ’71 ‘Cuda sure looks great, other than the fact it’s missing both doors. It’s completely missing, making us suspect that during some chase scenes they were torn off. Wick makes full use of its absence, unloading his handgun rapidly through the gaping hole. We also get to see a brief flash of Wick drifting the American muscle car in a European street. It appears to be in Paris, so that’s something you don’t see every day. Wherever it is, it looks like the car gets plenty of action in the movie."

Just like the Phantasm 'Cuda, the Wick 'Cuda features Cragar-style mag wheels, the twin scoop rallye hood and, of course, is painted a deep gloss black. We're sure Phantasm fans will enjoy this film even without Reggie riding along shotgun with his trusty four-barrel.
