The Tall Man’s favorite weapon had a visitor last week. Inde Navarrette, star of this year’s horror sensation Obsession, stopped by the Academy Museum’s “The Horror Show” exhibit and was photographed standing right in front of the Phantasm Silver Sphere.
The sphere is currently holding court alongside some serious company: Bela Lugosi’s cape from Dracula (1931), a Creature mask from Creature From the Black Lagoon (1954), and a Linda Blair face mold from The Exorcist (1973).
Navarrette, of course, is coming off a breakout year as Nikki, the character everyone has been talking about since Obsession hit theaters, and she’s already said she’d be open to revisiting the role down the line. So naturally, our minds went straight to the obvious place.
Nikki versus the Tall Man? “Freaky Nikki” wandering the halls of Morningside? A crossover nobody asked for, but one that honestly sounds kind of cool.
"The Horror Show" is a wonderful exhibit currently running at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in Los Angeles that pays tribute to the horror artform. Make sure to check it out, it runs until Summer 2027.
