Phantasm Lands At the Academy Museum and We’re Celebrating

Have you visited The Horror Show at the Academy Museum and seen a Phantasm prop sphere?

Horror finally gets its museum moment, and Phantasm is part of it.

The Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in Los Angeles now features a Phantasm sphere prop in its exhibition The Horror Show. The sphere is in legendary company, displayed alongside Bela Lugosi’s Dracula cape, a Creature from the Black Lagoon mask, original Psycho storyboards, and a Linda Blair mold from The Exorcist.

To celebrate the various official PHANTASM social media pages are doing seperate Sphere-filled giveaways! Including Don Coscarelli’s X Account, The Phantasm Instagram, and the Phantasm Facebook page.

The Horror Show runs through July 2027, so phans have plenty of time to see it in person.

The Horror Show is an epic display of the greatness of horror movies (with a fun PHANTASM appearance!)
